Hey Everyone, one really BIG announcement about the Vamos Trip, and a couple other items:

1. VAMOS ROAD TRIP – An Opportunity to Connect the Unconnected – Right now we are half full on our trip. Almost all of which are students that are already connected to Shoal Creek. I LOVE that we get this time with them, but this Vamos trip is IDEAL for YOUR son or daughter to get just ONE friend to Shoal Creek to come. If each student signed up just brought ONE friend, HALF our trip would be students that could potentially find their home at Shoal Creek. Please work with your son or daughter to help them find that friend they could invite, because this trip is about creating an community that is attractive to those still not connected to God. Attached are the forms, and here is the link for online registration: www.shoalcreek.org/vamos. Here are three videos to help share and promote:

Elevate Waypoint – March 20…12:30-2pm…$5/person

Teens, what do you want to do when you graduate? Got that one solved yet? Do you feel a unique calling and purpose for your life, or are things as clear as mud?

6th-12th grade students and their parents, please join our student community for our March Elevate Waypoint–a luncheon of meaningful discussion where teens can take a deeper look at what “Purpose” means for your path through life.

Crash Leadership Course – This Sunday in Willy Wonka Hall

Leadership is more than a buzzword, and if you’re a 9th-12th grader who wants to be an influencer in your community, and in your future, you need to check out the Crash Leadership Course offered on Sundays at 8:15am, before 1st Service begins.

A group of 8-10 students have been gathering to discuss spiritual-based leadership principles with people their own age.

One student said they liked this course because of “the opportunity to discuss leadership rather than just being led or being told how to lead,” and another, “It helped me to talk about whether as a leader I focus more on leading/helping others or getting tasks done.”

If you’re a high school student who wants to be an influencer, email Justin Talley to get the course material for free and join the discussion of student leaders at Shoal Creek.
