Crash Camping Trip “What to bring…”

If you are coming to the Crash Camping Trip to Lake Seba, here are the things you need to bring, or be made aware of:

  • Bring your permission slip – which you can get from Justin Talley
  • $15 – which pays for the food and drinks over the weekend
  • Sleeping bag and/or air-mattress, and a pillow
  • Swimming suit (Ladies – please wear a one-piece or a suit that covers midriff)
  • 1-2 beach towels
  • Sportswear clothes like shorts and T-shirts
  • Closed-toed shoes and a pair of jeans – in case you want to go horseback riding, this is a MUST
  • 2-3 changes of clothes, since we will be doing several things over the course of Friday, Saturday, and then coming back to church on Sunday morning.
  • Bug spray
  • Flashlight
  • Disposable camera (or digital if you want, but again, it’s your responsibility to take care of it)
  • Any game/sports/playing equipment that you want to bring is totally cool, as long as YOU are totally responsible for them over the weekend.

Things that we need for group use, if your family can let us borrow them for the weekend:

  • Tents
  • Life jackets
  • Coolers
  • Tarps (to put under tents)

If you can let us borrow any of these items, PLEASE send an email to justin.talley@shoalcreek.org so that we can keep track of what we have supplied and what we still need.
