Questions AND Announcements Below

1. Take 15 minutes to go read Luke 14:25-35. Read the scripture through a couple of times, then circle or write the verses that stick out. Write out why they stick out to you. Then we’ll circle up and talk.
2. (Circle back up in small group) Which verses stuck out to you and why? How did you feel inside as you were reading?
3. How much do you think you could stand to lose before you seriously started to question your faith? What do you think your breaking point might be? Like, if Jesus said “Give up __(blank)__.” What would be the thing that would leave you speechless and sick to your stomach because you’re not sure you could, or want to? Why is that ___blank____ so important to you?
4. What do you feel you need to do to truly follow Jesus? What might God be wanting you to act on, say, or change, or do to become closer to Him? What are 2 things that keep you from doing it?

Announcements:

July 2nd – Pool Party 6pm-9:30pm $3 – Meet at SC Building, bring swim stuff, pizza and drinks will be provided. Ladies, PLEASE where either a one-piece or a suit that covers mid-driff.

July 16th-18th – Camping Lake Trip at Lake Seba’s $15 – Meet at SC Building Friday at 6pm Friday, students will get back to SC Sunday morning at 9am. Once I get an RSVP list going from families, I will send out more information on what to bring, and see if any families have any tents that we can borrow.
